Windows 7 Unboxing & More

WINDOWS 7 IS HERE

So Windows 7 was released around the world. We went out to the store, bought it for $119.99 plus 20% off, and no tax. The total was $95.99, which was probably the best deal you could get on this (for the Home Premium Upgrade). Below are the pictures of the unboxing! [Throughout this post, click on an image to see its full size.]

The Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade box in all its glory!

Windows 7 next to Windows Vista, also purchased on the day it came out nearly 3 years ago. Notice the purchase price and stocking date.

Everything inside. You get a informative booklet, a ‘Upgrading from Windows XP?’ card, the 32-bit DVD, and the 64-bit DVD.

There you go! Windows 7. As we are writing this post, it is currently being installed on to a 17″ HP laptop. We will be installing Windows 7 Professional x64 (which we received via MSDNAA) later on to a MacBook Pro via Boot Camp.
