Apple’s new mouse, the Magic Mouse has been selling with the new iMac models, which we presume have the needed software The standalone mouse, however, has yet to arrive in retail stores or begin shipping from the company’s online stores, although Apple indicated that it would become available at the end of October and is currently listed as shipping in 5-7 business days in Apple’s U.S. online store. On Apple’s website, two download links have appeared for the software:

In the Magic Mouse user guide, it states that “Mac OS X 10.6.2 ” is needed to use the mouse. 10.6.2 Is expected to be out very soon, and to be fixing the issues left from 10.6.1 and this new software compatibility as well as Windows 7 support in Bootcamp.
