Jailbroken iPhone faster than DROID in Web Browsing

Engadget has posted a video of a jailbroken iPhone 3GS, complete with Katra Weather in the status bar and qTweeter, competing with the Motorola DROID in loading engadget.com, and in scrolling up and down the page. Both devices are on wifi, and the cache is cleared. The iPhone 3GS is considerably faster in both loading and scrolling (it isn’t laggy). HMM…

    Orly? It’s laggy, and choppy. It scrolls faster than the 3GS is all. I’d rather go for the faster device any day.

    It was laggy at first but in the end it looked pretty good. I’d still go for the iPhone, I’m just saying that it looked good.
