SmartScreen for iPhone and iPod Touch is coming soon! If you don’t know what it is, it’s a jailbroken modification that will allow users to add ‘widgets’ to your lockscreen. You can even add pages, so you can have tons of these widgets.
The latest beta (beta 5) was just passed on to developers. This is the last beta, so the actual app will be available for purchase by the end of the month. It will cost $5 and should be in Cydia.
Right now, there are 13 widgets available. These range from weather information, news, Twitter, and more. All of these look very neat and will be very cool to have once all of these is released to the public.
Below is a video of SmartScreen in action.
