Veency is a nice little VNC server that runs in the background on your iPhone or iPod Touch. With it, you can use your computer (or any device that has a VNC client) to view and control your device.
First, you need to install ‘Veency’ in Cydia.
Next, on your computer, open up a VNC client. Windows users can get RealVNC’s viewer. Compared to most other viewers (like TightVNC, UltraVNC, etc), this one seems to update the screen the fastest. Download it, open it up, and type in your iPhone’s IP address into the ‘Server’ box and press connect. If you didn’t tell Veency to have a password (in the Settings application), then it should show your device’s screen right away.
Mac users can also use RealVNC’s viewer. I can’t seem to find the download link for it, so here is the .app. Mac users can also use the built-in VNC client, but it doesn’t update the screen nearly as fast as RealVNC. With Finder active, press Cmd+K. Then, type in the IP address of your iPhone, and connect. If you didn’t tell Veency to have a password (in the Settings application), then it should show your device’s screen right away.
That’s about it! The process is simple. Install VNC, then connect to your iPhone with a client.
