Dell announced earlier this morning at CES, that they are planning on releasing a gaming netbook. Yes, netbook. This 11.6″ powerhouse features a Nvidia GT335M GPU, which is said to be able to play Modern Warfare to at 1920×1080 with high settings enabled (maximum texture settings for the game is “extra”) at 30 frames per second.

There’s actually two GPUs in this netbook. While using the alternative GPU, you can get around 6.5 hours out of it. In “gaming” mode, you can get you about two hours of “intense gaming”. This netbook also features DisplayPort, VGA, and HDMI outputs.

Coming later this year, it will cost “less than $1,000″, probably $999.99 for the base model.
