The sn0wbreeze team has just released the beta version of their upcoming port of PwnageTool for Windows. The final version will be released this Monday. The lite version will let you create custom IPSW’s for the following devices for 3.1.2:

1. iPhone 2G
2. iPhone 3G
3. iPhone 3GS (not on latest bootrom)
4. iPod Touch 1G
5. iPod Touch 2G

So all devices (except for the LATEST iPhone 3GS and the LATEST iPod Touch [3G]) will be able to use these custom IPSW files. We personally recommend using blackra1n, as it’s easier, faster, and doesn’t require a restore.

The application itself requires:

1. Windows XP, Vista/7 (32-bit or 64-bit) – Vista/7 requires the application to be run as administrator (right-click>Run as Administrator [IF UAC IS ENABLED[).
2. .NET Framework 3.5 (probably installed)
3. 256MB of RAM
