Apple today has started to issue invitations to their long rumored January 27th event. The event is to be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco at 10AM PST on Wednesday the 27th of January.

The Apple tablet has been rumored for quite some time now. With “Come see our latest creation” as the slogan for this event, Engadget believes that the event will focus on “art, music, and movie-making”. Apple may also unveil some news on iPhone OS 4.0, and possibly the next iPhone.
