AndroidLock is a brand-new lockscreen mod that’s available in Cydia for free. Yup, free! Things like this are usually $.99. What is AndroidLock? Well, if you’ve ever played with an Android-based device, you may have noticed the way you unlock it. You can have some sort of “slide-to-unlock” mechanism, or have a pattern that you follow with your finger to unlock your device. The later of the two is what this is.
Once installed, you must open up your stock Settings application, and look at AndroidLock.
You’ll then be presented with two options: Change pattern, Donate. The Donate button will close the app, and open up Safari, where it will then load a donations page. Change pattern will take you to a screen where you can change your lock pattern.
Once you’ve done that, exit out of the app or lock your device, and you’ll have a new way of unlocking your device!
If you have any sort of lockscreen mod already active, such as LockInfo, AndroidLock should be placed above it (as shown in the screenshots above).
If you’re someone who’s already trying to change the look of the dots and whatnot, you’re out of luck. When looking through the installed files for the package, all that’s installed is the MobileSubstrate .dylib, and some files related to the Settings app.
