hey guys I have the ipod touch 4g 4.3.3 firmware and there’s nothing wrong with t just the redsnow application. You see I have mac 10.5.8 so that can’t be the problem. I am hoping for suggestions. this is what it says when trying to open the application.
“you can not open the application “redsnow” because it is not supported on this architecture

iPhone 3G 8GB

I've used GM ipsw and redsn0w 0.9.5b5-1 - so far everythink works fine except iBooks (downloaded book is not showed in iBooks)

so I have downloaded the latest redsn0w 0.9.5b-4, used the same ipsw file and unfortunately I have the same problem as many others. The file is not recognized.
I did a same think with old redsn0w today and file is recognized properly.

Am I doing somethink wrong ?

and redsn0w doesn´t go further.

after using pwnage-tool the iPod isn´t jailbroken.

how comes that? i followed the instructions step by step. really.

Ah Nevermind I got it to work, same deal as Tim above. But now My Itunes won't sync all of my songs… It'll sync about 20-30 and then unexpectedly close. Any suggestions on how to fix this… I'm using Autofill btw.

Keep in mind that these guys DO do this in their spare time and do this stuff for no money at all. You should respect that . Plus, these things take time. Expecting a jailbreak on release day is crazy talk. It's certainly possible, but there's a lot of other variables to consider (like whether or not Apple will patch an exploit, etc).

The 8GB iPod Touch 3G is TECHNICALLY a iPod Touch 2G, as they have the same exact parts. The 32GB/64GB iPod Touch 3G's are the real ones.

The MC model iPod Touch's require a lot more work. The iPhone-Dev Team (and others) are coming up with gerat exploits, so a jailbreak shouldn't take more than a few weeks.
