Cydia Repo Closed

Our Cydia repo has had a nice long run. It has had over 50,000 package downloads since our very first package was posted on November 20, 2009.

It turns out that our Cydia repo is utilizing an excessive amount of RAM and CPU on our shared server. Therefore, we’ll have to close the Cydia repo, at least until we can get a dedicated server, which won’t be happening for a long time. We aren’t getting enough ad revenue to pay for a dedicated server (monthly). We’d have to pay 12x more than we pay now.

    I can’t access them either. I was able to this morning but now they are gone. This sucks not having access. I need Memory enhancer.

    Cool I got it now. Thanks Brian. The link in the above post responds back as a Error 500, so it must just be a broken link. I used the link that you commented back and was able to get to the .debs. Thanks.

    Error 500 means that too much of the servers’ resources are currently being used. Refreshing the page a fews times should result in a working page. Blame 1&1.

    OK, so I downloaded the Memory Deb and installed it to the TMP folder on my iPhone 3g and ran the CMD to upackage and install and it tells me that an error occurred while processing and then list com.gbtech.memenhance. What is the deal? Did I miss something?

    Nevermind I got it. I had forgotten to install the repo icons first. Now it is working. Great job to your team by the way, too bad you got to shut doewn

    since ur repo is gone, how do i download imemory enhancer? i really want that, but i clicked on the link on how 2 download the .deb file or whatever and it gave me an error. plz help, i really want that app.
