If you’re looking for a slider case for your iPhone 4, well, you may want to try a different kind of case. The Candy Slider by Hard Candy Cases is a rather expensive ($34.95) polycarbonate slider for the iPhone 4. It comes in a few different colors, but at that fairly high price point, you’d wish that the overall quality of the product would have been better.
The case itself isn’t THAT bad. The coloring is on the outside only, so the inside of the case will just be plain white. There are some long rubber (?) railing along the inside of the case that keep your phone lifted up a little bit, should any debris get under there, it won’t scratch the back of your phone.
Sounds good, right? Well, installing the case is a bit scary and a pain. The fit of the case on your iPhone is so tight that you’ll want to just stop trying to push it on there. Taking the case off of your iPhone is a challenge in and of itself. It’s EXTREMELY hard. The rubber (?) rails make it a horribly long and scary process. I almost broke the case when trying to take it off. It’s really not good.
So obviously, installation and uninstallation is a very terrifying process. Should the rails have been considerably trimmed (or better yet, removed altogether), it would’ve been an awesome case. Basically, once you have this case installed on your phone, you’ll never want to try and take it off. Don’t buy.
