Moto Skin (Gumdrop Cases) for iPhone 4

If you’re looking for an awesome looking heavy-duty silicone case for your iPhone 4, the Moto Skin by Gumdrop Cases is one that’s certainly worth taking a look at. It has a really cool rugged texture that gives you a whole lotta grip. It also gives a lot of protection to your iPhone 4. Check out our full review after the break.

First of all, the price! It costs $29.95. For an iPhone 4 case, that’s somewhat a lot, but we’ll let it pass this time. You don’t get any extras, either (screen shield, microfiber, etc). The case itself is honestly worth that price tag.

So, onto the case! It’s made of a really durable and strong silicone, so it’s a little thicker than most silicone cases. It’s very easy to install your iPhone 4 into the case, and the fit is just about perfect.

There are cutouts for everything (power button, 3.5mm headset jack, noise cancellation microphone, silent switch, volume buttons, bottom area (microphone/30-pin dock connector/speaker)). There aren’t any little nubs covering up the buttons. There’s also a “pill shaped cutout on the back of the case which is for the camera and flash.

The texture is pretty unique, and should be welcomed by most people.  The dirt bike tread pattern looks cool and is also put on the sides of the case, which adds a lot of grip when holding the phone. It also adds a good amount of protection. I feel confident that, if I “accidentally” drop my iPhone 4 with this case on it, the phone will be safe.

Overall, this is a really slick silicone case for the iPhone 4. The cool texture on the case really makes it stand out from most silicone cases. Is it worth the money? I’d say so.
