With only 6 hours away from the 2011 WWDC, there has been a leaked image (via TechCrunch) rumored to be the next generation of iOS, iOS 5. Click the “Read More” to read more on this leaked iOS 5 image.
According to the image below, Photoshop could have been used to come up with an image like that. Someone could have also easily taken a basic shot of iOS 4.3, modified it, then made a low quality capture of it to make it look all blurry and fuzzed up like in most “leaked” photos.
But yet, there is still a chance of it being real, if it so believed, iOS 5 will look somewhat similar or identical to this aside from the new features which is usually how Apple upgrades their iOS. There’s also a new camera icon, which is why most people think this image is fake.
fakers wouldn’t go through the trouble of designing such a high-quality icon for a quick fake, hours before the big event. Apple has replaced icons in the past, this can be another one of those replacements. And maybe, just maybe, we’ll see a revamped Camera App? – RedmondPie.com
But the feature that got most of us thinking, is the revamped notification system. There’s also a possibility of all notifications to be looking like this, which would be less distracting than the current notification system. It was said that the developer of MobileNotifier for iDevices, Peter Hajas, was hired by Apple to work with them on the upcoming notification system. This image sort of represents MobileNotifier.
