[CES 2011] The Uno – A one-wheeled motorcycle

At first, I thought it was a regular motorcycle that had foldable wheels, but it ended up being, what you can call, an “electric unicycle”. It technically has 2 wheels, but it’s pretty sweet looking. Check out a few more pictures below. You can check out more information on this thing on Wikipedia or on [...]

[CES 2011] Hands-on with the BlackBerry PlayBook

Finally! A tablet (other than the iPad) that I actually like! The BlackBerry PlayBook is quite the stunner when it comes to software. Its multitasking capabilities is really nice, and the hardware seems to support everything. Check out our little hands-on video below!

[CES 2011] GM’s EN-V electric vehicle

GM is demoing their new-ish “EN-V” electric vehicle. While it’s currently a concept, it features 2 seats, 2 steering wheels, and a maximum speed of 24MPH. View our video of the EN-V in action, as well as our [tiny] photo gallery. This isn’t too exciting, but it’s sort of neat.

[CES 2011] AR Drone

AR Drone is back at CES. What’s new this year? New in-air games for their AR Drone’s. Each one is $299, which is a bit pricey, but these WiFi-enabled “quadracopters” are able to be controlled by any iOS device (that has WiFI, of course). Using your iDevice’s accelerometer, you can easily control one of these [...]

[CES 2011] The AluPen – A stylus worth taking a look at

It seems as though a stylus is becoming a popular accessory for touch-screen devices, such as an iPad. Available in multiple colors, these are some really slick looking aluminum styluses. It’s fairly affordable, at $24.95, but shipping is quite expensive. More info down below.

[CES 2011] Day 1 – Some of my highlights

Today was the first day of CES. While, to me, it was disappointing, there was some decent stuff to check out. I took a number of pictures, and you can check them out below.

[CES 2011] Motorola Atrix 4G Hands-On

The Motorola Atrix 4G is “the world’s most powerful smartphone”. While it is fast, there are a number of applications that really don’t take advantage of the power. Speaking of power, the Atrix has a dual-core Tegra 2 processor and 1GB RAM. A small photo gallery is below.

[CES 2011] LG Optimus 2X quick hands-on demo

Yet another Android phone. This one’s by LG, and has a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. What does that mean? This phone’s very fast and snappy, although Need for Speed: Shift took ages to load. Once it did, the frame rate was a solid 60 with no stuttering. The phone itself isn’t stylish at all, [...]
